So apparently Shad decided that his first stitches weren't good enough so he wanted to try for another round. He was outside yesterday playing at the neighbors house, when I heard him crying. I go running outside and the neighbor girl is walking him home with blood running down his face and a gash on his cheekbone. He slipped on some ice and hios face oboviuosly took the fall for him. My first thought was, "Why couldn't this have been a few weeks ago when we had our deductable met?!" Then I thought,"His scar from his last one in Dec. hasn't even healed completely yet!" So Dave and I yet again made that trip to see the our Doc. who was on call last night! (lucky for us) This time he only got 2 stitches, but it is swollen and black and blue.
This picture was right after I cleaned it out.

Not for the faint of heart! This was at the Doctors when I put the numbing stuff on it.

Right after stitches...he was a sweaty little boy from criing. He did do better than he did that last time...and so did daddy. Dave didn't hold him, he played on his phone, the nurse and I did. Which was nice because we made it so he could see me the whole time.

These 2 pictures are as of this morning. He still is too cute though!

"Howdy Partner" is what he told me right before I took it!

So hopefully this will be our last for a while, but I am afraid not becuase things tend to come in 3's!

Oh that is so sad and looks like it hurts really bad!! I hope he is ok. Poor little guy second time around huh.... I guess boys will be boys right?
rats. I have never had stitches. I cant even stand to think about sewing skin shut!
Shad is one of my most favorite names in the world! Have I told you that? I may have to steal it...but that means having another baby and I....wont go there...
Oh, poor little Shad! I don't know, how you do it, I'm like Dave... I could hardly stand looking at those pictures! YUCK, blood! Things do come in 3's, so you better watch out! I'm sorry for whatever it is in advance :) Oh, and I totally hear ya on the deductible thing... that is so frustrating!
Oh my goodness! Stitches for the second time. He seems like a brave little guy, that stinks that you have to pay your deductible again...that's the one bad thing about the new year! Well, he is very cute and I hope he heals soon!
Oh your poor baby!! Ahhh the life of boys, I guess?!! He is so darling. Thank goodness for insurance, I guess you will just get a head start on your deductible this year! haha
OH, I'm so sorry. It's probably not quite as bad the second time right? I mean for you. Hope he is well. We are still waiting for Preston's scar to diminish as well.
