My grandpa was received by Jesus, Heavenly Father and his beloved wife Leah in to heaven around 3:00 am this morning. He died peacefully in his sleep with 2 sons, 2 daughter in-laws and lots of love at his side. He was 93 years old and lived a life so that you never got tired of hearing all of his stories. For the past 5 years my parents have had the wonderful opportunity to have him and his wife (until her passing on Christmas Eve 4 years ago) live with them. What a wonderful blessing it was for us as his grandkids and great grandkids to have him there to visit with and see when ever we visited my parents. He loved all of his grandkids and great grandkids so much and he was loved just as much by us. We love you grandpa...enjoy Christmas with grandma!Sunday, December 21, 2008

Tara, I'm so sorry for your loss, especially so close to Christmas. I'm so glad your family has the gospel and the peace with it to know that he is being surrounded with more love than imagineable. So sorry Tara, even when people are old, it is still so hard to say goodbye. ((HUGS)) Love you! (BTW, sorry I didn't make it there yesterday, we didn't have any gas and decided we shouldn't go buy any on Sunday :) Maybe I can make the drive tomorrow, I think it is supposed to snow today)
I'm so sorry to hear that. It's so hard when people you are close to pass on, even though you know they're in a better place. I love what you wrote about him and I'm sure he loved it 10 times more.
